My name is Katie Orse and I'm an Independent Director with Close to My Heart. I have a degree in Business Management and Accounting. I started working when I was about 14 and loved every job I ever had. Of course my favorite jobs were always Sales, Marketing, and working with people!
How did I get in this business?
When I joined Close to My Heart in July 2001 I was a stay-at-home Mom and my children were just 6, 5, and 2 years old. I loved stamping and scrapbooking so much that I also wanted to make this my business. I wanted to grow my business BIG!
Two months after I signed up with CTMH , September 11, 2001 devasted our nation. I was closely affected by this because my husband deployed within 3 days of Sept. 11. I had wanted to quit CTMH because it was going to be difficult caring for several young children and fulfilling my business dream - but before leaving for Afghanistan, my husband challenged me to keep living my life-as if nothing changed. He wanted me to go on fufilling my dreams, even if something were to happen to him.
I'm so thankful that I listened to my husband and took up his challenge. I have so much now and a fabulous group of consultants I work with on my team!
I do have several downlines 1st-5th levels deep! My Close To My Heart team consists of energetic women across the country earning money doing what they love. We are called the Stampin' Bees Team and we truly support each other.
My Close to My Heart business adventure has been the most rewarding career I’ve ever had. It has allowed me the opportunity to meet wonderful people who share the same passion as I do. I have no boss, no hours, no dress code, and I work as much as I need and as much as I like. The income is incredible!
